Home Refresh | Interior Paint Colors

There is nothing like a good coat of paint to make a room (or a house) feel brand new! Over the last few months, we have painted the exterior and interior of our homes, and it has been such a welcome refresh to the house. We hadn’t done much to it since we completed our addition 7 years ago, and we definitely felt like it was time. So the kids went back to their own rooms, and we helped them choose paint colors.

Chloe’s Room

We wanted a blush pink for Chloe’s room, something that would feel feminine but not over-the-top. The color we went with is called Intimate White from Sherwin Williams, and it is perfect!

Caleb’s Room

I choose two shades of blue and let him choose which one he preferred. The one he ended up choosing is Dockside Blue (SW 7601) by Sherwin Williams – a lighter shade of blue with a hint of gray.

Master Bedroom

We went with a color very similar to what we already had. It was a shade lighter but a very similar tone. The room just needed a refresh, but not a huge change. The color we decided on was Oyster White (SW 7637) by Sherwin Williams. It’s a light creamy beige color.

Common Area Interior

We definitely wanted to lighten up the interior and freshen it up a little. I didn’t want to go all the way white, but we needed to brighten up some of our spaces. We went with Fleur de Sel (SW 7666), which is a very light gray, just a couple shades off from white. I’m so happy with how it brightened up the house and the bathrooms.

And because I know we will get asked, this is the company we used. They were wonderful, professional, punctual. We were out of town for a few weeks and they were able to continue working while we were gone. We came back to completed work, and a house that was put back in order, which was so nice.
