Currently: Week of March 17, 2025

It’s been a week (not in a bad way), so I’m just going to jump into it!
- As Catholics, we abstain from eating meat on Fridays (throughout the whole year but the observance is particularly stressed during Lent). When I was a kid, pizza was always the go to. As I got older and my taste more “refined”, sushi was the Friday meal. But now that I have protein goals, I need something easier and healthier. Trader Joe’s has some really great seafood burgers that are easy to pop in our countertop oven and they are ready to go in just under 10 minutes. My favorite ones are the shrimp burgers. I couldn’t find a link to the actual product, but they are always in the section with the salmon and turkey burgers, and I did find this recipe on their website.
- I made the viral ground beef, sweet potato, cottage cheese bowl this week and it was as good as the internet says it is. If you’re interested in making it, here’s a good starting point, although I didn’t follow any recipe and I subbed the beef for ground turkey. In any case, if you need a protein heavy meal, this is a good one!
- Target has some really cute spring wardrobe items. I’m really trying not to overbuy, but I did bring this shirt home with me.
- I got a facial this week with Jenn at Skin Treats and it was heavenly. I absolutely passed out for 30 minutes, according to my Oura ring.
- If you have acne-prone skin, switching to this moisturizer has been a saving grace for my skin. I wash with this, then moisturize, and then sunscreen – EVERY SINGLE DAY.
- This dress (I’m wearing it in the photo above) came in my Nuuly order last month and I think it’s such a gorgeous dress.
xoxo,
