PediPed & Kicks4Kids Miami

Earlier this year, my parents came over all excited because they had found these great shoes for Caleb. They were adorable little sandals from pediped. Honestly, my biggest draw was that they were machine washable. When you have a toddler who loves to get dirty and be outdoors, machine washable is definitely a win. But the more I discovered about the shoes, and the more Caleb used them, the happier I was that my parents had decided to purchase a pair for him!

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, and pediped contacted me to review a pair of their shoes. I was so excited! This is a product I believe in and use regularly, and that is something I promised myself I would always keep in mind when reviewing products.  They actually contacted me at the perfect time, because I was planning on heading out to Kicks4Kids to get him another pair as he was growing out of his.

With some of the shoes Caleb has worn, it has taken him a while to get adjusted to the shoe and he trips over his feet for the first couple of uses. But he hasn’t had this issue with either pair of pediped shoes that he has worn. That’s because these shoes are approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association for promoting healthy foot development. It’s the closest thing we can get to walking barefoot. This pair is also machine washable, which makes it an amazing everyday shoe. From the park, to the front yard, to the beach, he can wear these shoes and I never have to worry that they will get too dirty. There are also some very nice dress models of pediped shoes that would be absolutely perfect for the upcoming holiday season! I’m definitely planning on checking them out for some of our dressier holiday events.

And pediped can grow with your child! They have three categories of shoes: The Originals is a line of infant shoes that closely mimics barefoot walking, which makes them perfect for little guys and girls who are learning to walk. The Grip ‘n’ Go is a line for active toddlers who are transitioning from learning to walk to gaining a confident stride, and the Flex line is for established walkers with a confident stride.

They have some great options for kids of all ages and for all occasions. In case you are still in need of some shoes for back to school, you should definitely check them out!
